Natwest offers this free banking account with a worldwide excepted visa debit card, all the basic facilities including an overdraft  ( subject to status ) with a basic interest rate of 0.10% on a credit balance.

The overdraft charges for Natwest seem a little complex as you may be charged an arrangement fee but once you have come to terms with the charging structure you have the option of applying for a £100.00 Interest free overdraft.

The Natwest plus account comes with the option of upgrading to the Advantage blue account for the small sum of £6.50 a month.

Natwest gives you some great deals with this upgrade which could can come in pretty handy, I was most impressed with the emergency cash option, if your Natwest debit card is lost or stolen, give Natwest a call and they will give you a code that will allow you to withdraw up to £3oo from one of their machines. – Marvelous.

Natwest gives you the option of choosing Car breakdown cover or mobile phone insurance which also includes cover for unauthorized calls.

Discounts on retail shops – rail travel- cash back for gigs and European travel insurance is also thrown in with this Natwest account.

Natwest advantage blue account comes with free mobile banking, check your balance, transactions and lets you know if you are about to max out your debit card.

For the sum of £6.50 each month you can certainly get your moneys worth with this Natwest account, but with nearly every high street bank offering premium accounts it might be wise to shop around depending on what suits you best.
